This policy explains what personal information Worknosis collects through worknosis.com and the platform at app.worknosis.com, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, city and province or state, and your password (stored in hashed form).
- Sensor data: temperature and humidity readings, device identifiers and status from sensors linked to your account.
- Alert recipients: the names, email addresses and schedules of people you ask us to notify. Make sure they are aware you have added them.
- Notification records: a log of alert and status emails sent, and whether they were delivered.
- Enquiries: the details you submit on our quote form (name, company, email, phone, facility and requirements).
- Technical data: basic information needed to run and secure the Service, such as IP address, browser type, login sessions and cookies.
How we use it
To provide the Service (dashboards, alerts, reports), to create and secure your account, to respond to enquiries and support requests, to prevent abuse and fraud, and to maintain and improve the Service. We use email to send alerts, account and verification messages, and replies to your requests.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers who process data on our behalf, such as web hosting, email delivery and a CAPTCHA service (Cloudflare Turnstile) that helps protect our forms. Within your organization, information is visible to the users and alert recipients your account administrator sets up. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of others.
Cookies
We use cookies needed for signing in and, if you choose "Remember me", to keep you signed in. Our forms may also use short-lived cookies to keep your entries during registration.
Retention
We keep account and sensor data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal purposes, and then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you suspect misuse.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to non-essential use, by emailing info@worknosis.com. You can manage alert recipients in the app at any time.
